Geoff is a Manchester music graduate who spent several years working in the music industry at home and abroad before becoming involved in theatre in the early 1980’s. He has written and directed the music for some two dozen plays performed as far afield as Glasgow, Liverpool and Berlin in addition to directing more than fifty productions in the last fifteen years, including International Amateur Premiers of three John Godber plays for Middlesbrough Theatre, and “A Slice of Saturday Night” and “Best Little Whorehouse In Texas” at Sunderland Empire.

He has written a dozen musical plays for performance by young people and has extensive teaching experience. He is Curriculum Leader for the Foundation Degree in Performance and Events Production and the HND in Music Performance, and as a member of the Performing Arts Team lectures in drama, music, and events production.
